Support EHB Coverage of Obesity Treatment Services

Join the advocacy efforts of the ASMBS, American College of Surgeons, American Society of Plastic Surgeons and many other medical groups by submitting a letter to your state’s governor urging them to support patient access and coverage of obesity treatment services under the Affordable Care Act in 2016. Currently 28 state health exchange plans exclude coverage for bariatric surgery and more than 90% do not cover FDA-approved obesity drugs. Join the fight for fair treatment for people with obesity by filling out the letter and submitting it to your state’s representative.
