ASMBS is accepting abstracts through May 8th for its 35th Annual Meeting at ObesityWeek 2018, held in Nashville, November 11-15. This year’s theme is cardiovascular health, so submissions with a focus on cardiac outcomes and bariatric/metabolic surgery are encouraged. Abstracts are eligible for the following categories:
- Oral Presentations
- Integrated Health (IH) Presentations
- Behavioral Health Presentations
- Oral Quick Shot Presentations
- E-Poster Presentations
- Video Presentations

Registration Now Open for the Obesity Action Coalition’s Annual Your Weight Matters Convention
Registration for the Obesity Action Coalition’s 7th Annual Your Weight Matters National Convention, taking place July 19-22 in Denver is now open. Participants in the four-day convention will have the opportunity to learn about more than 50 weight management and health topics from leading experts in the field and become more involved in helping individuals affected by obesity in their journey toward better health through education, advocacy and support.
