Submit Abstracts for 35th ASMBS Annual Meeting at ObesityWeek 2018

ASMBS is accepting abstracts through May 8th for its 35th Annual Meeting at ObesityWeek 2018, held in Nashville, November 11-15. This year’s theme is cardiovascular health, so submissions with a focus on cardiac outcomes and bariatric/metabolic surgery are encouraged. Abstracts are eligible for the following categories:

  • Oral Presentations
  • Integrated Health (IH) Presentations
  • Behavioral Health Presentations
  • Oral Quick Shot Presentations
  • E-Poster Presentations
  • Video Presentations

Register for ASMBS Weekend in NYC, June 14-16

Abstract Submission Window Extended to April 30th for 2018 World IFSO Congress held in Dubai Sept. 26-29

The 23rd World Congress of International Federation for the Surgery of Obesity and Metabolic Disorders (IFSO), being held in Dubai September 26-29, has extended its abstract submission window to April 30th. To learn more about the abstract submission guidelines, please

The conference will bring together world leaders in metabolic and bariatric surgery who will share their experiences and expertise as they seek practical solutions to eradicate and manage the epidemic of obesity. Registration Now Open for the Obesity Action Coalition’s Annual Your Weight Matters Convention

Registration for the Obesity Action Coalition’s 7th Annual Your Weight Matters National Convention, taking place July 19-22 in Denver is now open. Participants in the four-day convention will have the opportunity to learn about more than 50 weight management and health topics from leading experts in the field and become more involved in helping individuals affected by obesity in their journey toward better health through education, advocacy and support.
